Multiple corn varieties can increase production by mixing
At present, farmers usually plant a corn hybrid in the same plot. If two or more varieties can be mixed and planted, they can increase grain output by 20-30 kilograms per mu. This method does not require any additional input, and the technology is simple. The mechanism for increasing production is mainly the utilization of contemporary hybrid advantages of corn. The study of the contemporary hybrid superiority of maize with more than 2400 panicles in 1994-1995 showed that there was a phenomenon of direct pollen among different maize varieties.
