Gilson medical centrifuges, especially the automatic capping series, are widely welcomed by users, occupying half of the market. Today, Xiaobian introduces the maintenance methods of Gilson medical centrifuges for users, and hopes to help everyone improve the efficiency of use and reduce wear and tear.

1. Maintenance method of medical centrifuge:

1. Clean the rotor chamber and rotor with water or a mild detergent. Do not use alkaline solutions or solvents that are abrasive to the material.

2. Open the top cover when the centrifuge is not in use, keep the rotor chamber dry to avoid motor bearing wear.

3. Use a rag or tweezers to remove debris from the rotor chamber.

4. Special safety measures must be taken when centrifuging toxic, radioactive, and contaminated samples.

2. Maintenance methods for medical centrifuge accessories:

1. The centrifuge should keep a certain distance from other electrical equipment, and have good grounding measures, and conduct regular inspections.

2. Centrifuges and rotors must not be exposed to high levels of UV radiation or exposed to heat for extended periods of time. Apply a neutral detergent when cleaning.

3. The rotor can be replaced if needed. After reinstallation, tighten the turnbuckle screws.

4. If there is a centrifuge tube, the color change, deformation, leakage, etc. must be stopped.

5. Do not screw on the cap when performing high temperature and high pressure sterilization on the centrifuge tube to avoid deformation of the tube. See the section of this user manual for the temperature tolerance of each centrifuge tube.
