What are the technical points of vegetable seed processing?

Treatment of vegetable seeds before sowing can promote the water absorption and germination of the seeds, so that the germination rate is high, germination is fast, and germs on the seed coat can be killed. Common methods are: (1) soaking in warm water. With 50-55 degrees (2 parts boiling water, l cold water) soaked in warm water for 7-8 minutes, and constantly stirring, then add cold water. The temperature of rapeseed fell to 25-30 degrees, and the cool rapeseed fell to 20-25 degrees. The time of soaking varies depending on the seeds. Cucumbers, pumpkins and melons are soaked for 3-4 hours. Solanaceous fruit, gourd and melon are soaked for 8-10 hours; watermelons, carrots and spinach are soaked for 24 hours; and radish and cabbage are soaked in 1-3. Hours; cabbage, cauliflower, beans soaked for 1-2 hours. When soaking in warm water, it should be noted that the soaking container should be clean. The amount of water should be moderate, and it is appropriate to just flood the seeds. Soak 4 to 5 hours to change the water once. During the soaking process, the pod seeds floating on the water should be removed. (2) Formalin disinfection. Put the soaked seeds in a 1000-fold formalin solution, soak for 15 minutes, and then remove and fumigate for 2-3 hours. Wash and sow directly. (3) Potassium permanganate soaking. The soaked seeds, soaked with 1% potassium permanganate solution for 30-60 minutes, or immersed with 4% sodium chloride 20 times 20-30 minutes, remove and rinse, dry after sowing. (4) Germination. Wrap the seed soaked in warm soup with a gauze or towel, put a wet towel on the seepage container, and germinate at a suitable temperature. Hi temperature dishes are 25-30 degrees, and cold dishes are 20-25 degrees Celsius. Priming time: cabbage for 12 hours; tomato for 2-3 days; eggplant for 3-6 days; green pepper for 2-3 days; watermelon for 3-6 days; melon and gourd for 17 hours. After germination, the budding rate reached more than 95% and should be sown immediately.
