Pfizer and IBM collaborate to develop a monitoring system for patients with Parkinson's disease

Pfizer has partnered with IBM to develop a system for treating patients with Parkinson's disease for clinicians. The system uses sensors, mobile devices and machine learning garlic vendors to provide doctors and developers with symptom information that allows them to better understand the patient's disease progression and medication response. It also revolutionizes physicians' decision making, clinical trial design, and new treatment options.

Pfizer and IBM R&D Monitoring System

Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer's global R&D chairman, said that by integrating Pfizer's medical technology and management experience with IBM's integration capabilities and innovative approaches, we can interpret complex data and give us the opportunity to monitor 24/7. With Jinsen patients, we will redefine the perception of patients. The key to success is to provide a reliable and scalable measurement and analysis system that helps clinicians meet clinical needs, accelerate drug development, and adjust support procedures to help us better and better treat patients.

IBM said patients with Parkinson's disease need to continue to adjust their medication based on their progress. Through collaboration, IBM and Pfizer hope to gain a more comprehensive understanding of Parkinson's disease by measuring patients' health indicators, including motor function, exercise, cognition, sleep, and various daily activities.

IBM and Pfizer plan to conduct clinical trials of the system as soon as possible.
