Clivia post-autumn management
Timely change the ramets basin: As the plants grow up, if the original flowerpot is too small, it will not be conducive to plant growth. The plants can be gently removed from the pot, removing the soil and cutting the old roots. If there are more ramets, the saplings should be cut from the mother plant or opened by hand. After the sub-strains are removed, fine ash or charcoal powder shall be applied to the incisions to prevent the water from evaporating, and they can play the role of disinfection. After the incisions are dried, they can be put on the basin. Pots and pots should be selected as flower pots, and flower pots with the appropriate diameter should be selected according to the size of the plants. In general, 2-3 leaves should use 3-4-inch pots; 4-5 leaves use 4-5-inch pots; 5-10 leaves use 5-6-inch pots, and so on. Preparation of nutritious soil: The preparation of nutritious soil can be carried out in the following methods: 1 part of humus, 1 part of garden soil, and a small amount of river sand; or 1 part of rot leaf, 1 part of garden soil, 1 part of manure, and a small amount of river sand. Do not use cohesive and alkaline soils, otherwise it will not be easy to survive. Fertilizer and Water Management: The growing Clivia mainly uses liquid fertilizer. Usually, the remaining fruits and vegetables, bones, and fish can be placed in a tank and filled with water to fully acclimatize. The diluted water is used well. The number of waterings in the fall should be controlled so that we can see dry, wet and dry. Increased light: Due to the gradual fall in temperature in the autumn, insufficient photoperiod, the lighting time of the clivia should be increased. If there is less light in the room, supplemental lighting can be used. China Agricultural Network Editor
