Academician draws "human cancer map", 15 organs are most susceptible to cancer

Release date: 2016-04-13

If one day death rings the door of your home, then the sickle may be cancer. Do you think this is sensational? According to the World Health Organization's most common cause of death prediction report for 2030, cancer will continue to rank first in the "killer killer list" for the next 100 years.

Why can cancer be so embarrassing? In which parts of the human body do you like to “disorder”? Can we focus on prevention? "Life Times" interviewed domestic authoritative oncologists, asked them to draw a "human cancer map" and send detailed anti-cancer guidance.

Interviewed experts:

Director of the National Cancer Clinical Medical Research Center, Chairman of the China Anti-Cancer Association, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Hao Xishan

Professor of Internal Medicine, Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Sun Yan

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Zhong Nanshan

Director of the Lung Cancer Clinic of Capital Medical University and Director of Department of Thoracic Surgery, Beijing Xuanwu Hospital

Yu Changxuan, deputy director of the Oncology Department, Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University

12 organs of the human body are most susceptible to cancer

Hao Xishan said: "Cell cancer is a very active quail egg molecule in the human body. It can almost be said to be pervasive. In addition to nails and hair, it can germinate and spread around any part of the human body. Moreover, some parts of the human body are indeed exceptionally affected. It's 'favored', but men and women will be significantly different."

Professor Hao Xishan further introduced that in China, cancer cells are the most frequent “going to” human tissues.

The top ten male morbidity rates are: lung, stomach, liver, colorectal, esophagus, bladder, prostate, pancreas, lymph, kidney;

The top ten female morbidity rates are: breast, lung, colorectal, stomach, liver, esophagus, cervix, thyroid, uterus, ovary.

"It can be said that these ten tumors account for more than 80% of all tumor types. If the organs with high cancers are marked on the human body chart, it is a typical 'human cancer map'." Professor Hao Xishan said.

Of course, this map is not completely absolute. According to Professor Hao Xishan, due to some special reasons, some cities in China have shown "local characteristics." For example, in big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, the incidence of breast cancer in women has surpassed that of lung cancer, ranking first; while Guangdong is a high incidence of nasopharyngeal cancer; Jiangsu Qidong is a high incidence of liver cancer; and many patients with esophageal cancer in Lin County, Henan Make people look.

During the interview, the reporter clearly felt that the experts were very worried about a problem: "It is obvious from this map that China now has the dual characteristics of both developed and developing countries." Zhi Xiuyi told reporters that Breast cancer and colorectal cancer are the "exclusive products" of rich countries, but these two cancers are now among the best in China. At the same time, the high incidence of gastric cancer and liver cancer in developing countries is still high in China.

Where does the cancer come from?

Faced with this special map, we can't help but wonder: Why are these organs on our bodies particularly vulnerable to cancer cells? What scientific reasons can be seen from this ranking?

"To answer this question, we first need to understand how cancer actually happened." Sun Yan gave the reporter an analogy: the human body is actually a community of cells. Every cell acts according to the rules, knowing when to divide and grow, and know how to combine with other cells to form tissues and organs. And the "drawings" that build different organizations are genes.

Many people say that there are cancer cells in the human body, but they have not developed. Medically, if you can detect cancer cells, you can diagnose this person with cancer. Therefore, this statement is not correct. Now medical scientists believe that there are proto-oncogenes in everyone, and absolutely no cancer cells in human body.

Why are these organs susceptible to cancer?

In the interview, the experts conducted a specific analysis of this human cancer map. In addition to the “universal” cause of cell variability, the causes of cancer cells infested by each organ are also different.

lung. Regardless of men and women, lung cancer is the top priority. Why is the lungs so fragile? There are two main points in the analysis of current carcinogenic causes:

The first is smoking. According to statistics, 30% of cancers are associated with long-term smoking, the most closely related of which is lung cancer. In addition, since carcinogens can be absorbed through the lungs, causing systemic harm, it can induce laryngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, oral cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer and the like.

The second is environmental pollution. The data shows that air pollution is one of the causes of lung cancer. Zhong Nanshan once suggested that environmental pollution is as harmful to people's lungs as smoking.

Breast. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the world. The main factors are: eating high-fat and high-calorie foods, stress, and late marriage and childbirth.

stomach. Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world, and two out of every three cases are male. In addition to salt, salted food, red pepper, processed meat, smoked food, barbecue animal food, etc. are the causes of gastric cancer, gastric mucosal changes and atrophic gastritis can also lead to gastric cancer.

In addition, "common meals" will also increase the direct cause of gastric cancer - the opportunity to spread Helicobacter pylori. "So some people even classified gastric cancer as an infectious disease." You Weicheng said.

liver. At present, there is evidence that "hepatitis B virus" eats cereals and beans contaminated with aflatoxin. At the same time, long-term drinking is the direct cause of liver cancer.

esophagus. The main cause of esophageal cancer is to eat hot food, such as drinking hot tea. In addition, factors such as smoking, obesity, and processed meat are direct causes. Gastric acid reflux is also a risk factor for increasing esophageal cancer.

the large intestine. Red meat, heavy drinking (only for men), high-temperature fried foods, and often tolerated, may lead to colorectal cancer. In addition, inflammatory bowel disease can also increase the risk of colon cancer.

bladder. Studies have shown that arsenic in drinking water is one of the causes of bladder cancer. In addition, regular urination can increase the risk of cancer.

pancreas. Pancreatic cancer is a representative of "rich disease" in cancer, and both obesity and diabetes can cause the disease.

lymph. Cancers of the lymphatic and hematopoietic system mainly include lymphoma, leukemia and multiple myeloma. This group of cancers has the same incidence as liver cancer. Environmental pollution, viral infections, and obesity are the causes of this cancer.

kidney. The three factors of body fatness, arsenic content in drinking water, and smoking can cause the cancer to occur.

Cervical and ovary. The causes are many, such as women's staying up late to cause endocrine disorders, premature sexual life and so on.

According to the "2015 China Cancer Statistics", in 2015 alone, there were 4.292 million new cases of cancer and 2.814 million cancer deaths in China, with the highest incidence of lung cancer and the mortality of lung cancer in various tumors. The first of its kind.

More than 40% of cancers are actually preventable!

The World Cancer Research Foundation reports that a healthy and rational lifestyle can be effectively avoided: 70% of uterine cancer, 69% of esophageal cancer, 63% of oral cancer, 47% of gastric cancer, 45% of colorectal cancer, 39% Pancreatic cancer, 38% of breast cancer, 36% of lung cancer, 24% of kidney cancer, 21% of gallbladder cancer, 15% of liver cancer, and 11% of prostate cancer.
