Clever feeding additives to prevent chicken cold stress

4. Leaves. The leaves are warm and spicy, containing a variety of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and unknown growth factors. 8. Vitamin E. Broiler winter and spring application of vitamin E, through the anti-lipid peroxidation, improve the body's cold resistance and disease resistance. Addition: 30 mg/kg diet for broilers.

9. Zinc. The use of chickens in winter and spring has the effects of strengthening metabolism, maintaining body temperature, and improving cold stress resistance. Dosage: The main use of zinc compounds, such as zinc methionine, zinc sulfate and so on. Safe dosage: Chicken 1000 mg/kg diet.

10. Selenium. Chicken winter and spring applications, in addition to the similar role with zinc, there are still the role of the body to remove peroxide. Addition amount: Chicken 0.15 mg/kg diet, mostly added in the form of sodium selenite.
