Chicken crown bonsai production method

Celosia is an annual herb of the family Anatidae. The inflorescences are terminal, fleshy, and switch like folds of chicken. In addition to the chicken corolla, there are also torch-like, pompon-like, feather-like, fan-like, and spike-like changes. The main colors are purple, red and dark red, and there are also white, yellow, orange, light green, and complex colors.

The celosia used to make miniature bonsai plants are selected from low-growth, leafless varieties, preferably spikes, to make them more natural.

Materials and styling can be propagated in the spring or other seasons using sowing methods. The method is to sow the seeds in the plug tray or other small pots, give sufficient light after emergence, do not make the water and fertilizer excessive, especially nitrogen fertilizer can not be too much. Due to the limitation of the size of the container, the roots cannot be stretched, the nutrients absorbed are limited, and the plants can form inflorescences in about 10 cm.

After the inflorescence is translucent, it can be moved into slightly larger ornamental basins. When transplanting, pay attention to the protection of the root system and do not allow the soil to disperse. When planting a single plant, it should be accompanied by stone appreciation so as not to appear thin. In the jungle combination, care should be taken to ensure that the plant heights are scattered and dense, and all plant heights must be the same. If the seedlings are of the same height, some plants can be planted diagonally. This produces a contrast between high and low, straight and oblique, and cuts down the leaves that are dense or affect the shape, making it clear and transparent and rich in depth. The last step is to lay out moss and stone to make a natural relief, and decorate the ornaments as needed to increase the interest of the work.

Maintenance and management of newly planted plants must be irrigated with water and placed in a place where there is no direct sunlight for about a week. After giving relatively sufficient light to keep the soil moist without water, spray the potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution every two weeks or so to supplement the nutrients and extend the viewing period.

Since celosia is an annual plant, it will gradually wither after the fall, and the plants will be discarded after losing their ornamental value.
